Mace Group enlisted our expertise to design and construct a timeline wall for a key staff member’s retirement celebration at Shangri-La The Shard.
Aura Works enhanced the design by conceptualizing a series of visual tiles, each representing a chapter in the individual’s career. Each tile was meticulously crafted with edge-banded sides, vinyl graphics, and split-baton fixings for secure hanging.
The backdrop, intentionally raw in its construction, featured a CNC-machined structure with precise positioning holes to ensure accurate tile placement during installation.
A test assembly was conducted in our workshop before the structure was dismantled and transported for installation at The Shard. After the event, many of the tiles were repurposed as framed artwork and are now displayed in Mace’s London offices.
